First of all, I have been blessed with an amazing neighbor. She is my sons' friends mother (lol! I know it sounds weird). She has offered to help me out with my kids so I can go back school which is awesome!! All she asked is for me to switch my daughters' pre-k schedule; totally doable so I did it. So starting Monday she'll be watching both my kiddos for me M,T & W taking my daughter to school and picking up all the kids after school for only $15 a day which is very reasonable considering my last sitter wanted $30 a day and she wasn't able to pick them up. So I get to go back to school starting Monday!!! Yay!!
But onto other things. So I had posted I did my own nails; a full set of acrylics which I wasn't very pleased with. They started lifting and I was needing a fill bad. So I took them off, which I realize now was a bad idea cause my nails are now super thin and severely bruised (at least my pink is :( ). I must have done it wrong, but i di it exactly they way they taught in school so i don't know what happened. So after bruising the crap out of my nails I went on pinterest looking for a easier less painful way to get the acrylic off your nails and found this
27 Nail Hacks For The Perfect DIY Manicure
Amazing right!? All kinda of cool DIY stuff for a perfect manicure I was so very happy when I found I haven't tried everything on there but I will ;) But anyways if you scroll down to #15 it shows you how to take off a gel manicure pretty simple and its stuff you have at home (if you do your nails as often as I do you rarely run out of this stuff). So I though hmmmm.......ok so I should be able to do this with acrylic right? WRONG! Well at least not with a regular acetone or non-acetone polish remover. So I was like ok I need to find another polish remover. So I went to my local Walmart and found this ---->

Onyx Professional Soak Off Gel & All Nail Coatings |
I was ify of whether or not this would actually work. But figuring that it wouldn't hurt to try it I soaked some cotton balls in this and wrapped a few fingers that still had acrylic on them with aluminum foil and left it on for about 30-minutes maybe longer. When I went to take the foil off the acrylic came off with the cotton ball no scarping no pain involved. I am in love!! <3
It saved a few of my finger nails but I bruised the crap out my pinky nail and all my nails are so thin its ridiculous so I went on a mission today looking a a nail strengthener and repair and found one. But you'll have to wait til tomorrow to see what it is. Have a great Friday everyone thank you for stopping by :)
